To those who have yet to have the pleasure of attending a Mammoth WVH show, here
is one word of advice: GO!!
I enjoyed attending and photographing the show at Bogart's in Cincinnati, Ohio; it was
an incredible experience.
This is what real Rock and Roll is supposed to sound like.
The band, led by frontman and lead guitarist Wolfgang Van Halen, delivered a powerful
and dynamic performance that had the entire audience captivated from start to finish.
The band opened with "I'm Alright" from their newly released album Mammoth WVH II,
a heavy-hitting track that showcased their impressive musicianship and energy. From
there, they played a mix of songs from the album; my favorite song on the album that
hits hard is "Right?" From there, it was just non-stop rock and roll, including the
emotional ballad "Mammoth". For the encores, it was my personal favorite "Another
Celebration at the End of the World", which is just a killer tune. The last song was the
catchy rock anthem "Don't Back Down".
Wolfgang's stage presence was imposing as he interacted with the crowd and showed
incredible guitar skills throughout the performance. His vocals were also noteworthy,
with a powerful and emotional range.
The rest of the band was equally impressive; being a drummer, I could not have been
more impressed than I was by Garrett Whitlock, who is just an absolute beast on the
drums, Jon Jourdan on Rhythm Guitar, and Ronnie Ficarro on bass, Each member
contributed to the incredible sound and energy of the performance.
The concert was an incredible display of musicianship, energy, and showmanship.
Mammoth WVH is a band that truly knows how to perform a memorable performance,
and I highly recommend seeing them live for any rock fan. They are sure to leave a
lasting impression on audiences.

14. Another Celebration At The End Of The World
15. Don't Back Down
Nita "Hurricane" Strauss and her band started off the night, proving once again why she
is one of the most talented guitarists in the music industry today and why she makes
photographing her a must. The band's performance was a perfect blend of high-energy
rock and roll and soulful, emotional ballads that left the audience completely captivated
from start to finish.
Nita Strauss kicked off the show with a blistering performance of "Summer Storm";
showcasing her incredible guitar skills and stage presence. From there, the band played
a mix of songs from their latest album, including "Mariana Trench" and "Alegria". The
crowd was also treated to some of Nita's solo work, with the guitarist performing a
stunning rendition of "The Quest".
Nita's infectious energy and passion for music were evident throughout the show as she
interacted with the audience and delivered a truly unforgettable performance. Her guitar
solos were awe-inspiring, leaving the crowd cheering and applauding in amazement.
The rest of the band also gave standout performances, with drummer Josh Villalta and
bassist Christopher Dean providing a solid foundation for Nita's virtuosic guitar work.
The vocals of lead singer Katt Scarlett were also noteworthy, with her powerful voice
adding an extra layer of emotion to the band's impressive sound.
One of the show's highlights was the band's performance of their hit song "Our Most
Desperate Hour", which had the entire audience singing along and swaying to the beat.
It was a truly magical moment and a testament to the band's ability to connect with their
fans deeply and emotionally.
Nita Strauss band's latest performance was a tour de force of rock and roll energy,
musicianship, and showmanship. Nita Strauss is a true guitar hero, and her band is a
force to be reckoned with in rock music. If you can see them live, don't hesitate - you
won't be disappointed.
