Bret Michaels – "Parti-Gras 2025 Tour" at Mohegan Sun Arena

Uncasville, CT – February 7, 2025

The Mohegan Sun Arena was electric as fans packed the venue for Bret Michaels' highly anticipated Parti-Gras 2025 Tour. From the moment the lights dimmed, the energy was off the charts, and the crowd was more than ready for a night of rock and roll nostalgia, anthems, and party vibes.

A High-Energy Kickoff

Bret and his band wasted no time diving into the hits, opening with the Poison classic "Talk Dirty to Me". The crowd erupted as soon as the opening riff hit, singing along word-for-word with Bret, who commanded the stage with his signature charisma and boundless energy. Without missing a beat, the band rolled into "Ride the Wind", another Poison staple that had the audience swaying and throwing their fists in the air.

A Surprise Guest: Mark McGrath Joins the Party

One of the night's biggest highlights came when Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray joined the band onstage. The audience went wild as McGrath launched into "Every Morning", bringing his signature California cool to the show. The nostalgic vibes kept flowing with "Fly", a song that had everyone dancing and singing along, making for a fun and unexpected twist in the setlist.

Rocking Through the Poison Catalog

Bret then brought the focus back to his Poison roots, tearing into "Look What the Cat Dragged In", a hard-hitting glam rock anthem that had the arena rocking. The heartfelt ballad "Something to Believe In" was a standout moment of the night, with lighters (and phone flashlights) illuminating the arena as the band delivered an emotional performance.

Unskinny Bop kept the energy high, with the crowd bouncing along to the infectious groove. Then, drummer Meri Schaefer took center stage for a killer drum solo, showing off an impressive display of speed and precision while the crowd cheered him on.

A Powerful Finale

Of course, no Bret Michaels show would be complete without "Every Rose Has Its Thorn", and this rendition was nothing short of magical. With an acoustic intro that sent chills through the arena, the entire crowd sang along in unison, creating a truly special moment. The night closed with "Nothin' But a Good Time", a fitting way to end the ultimate rock and roll party.

The entire band—lead guitarist Pete Evick, guitarist Dean Cramer, bassist Norman Voss, and drummer Meri Schaefer—played with incredible energy, making every song feel fresh and explosive.

Final Thoughts

Bret Michaels proved once again why he's one of rock’s most beloved frontmen. His energy, stage presence, and genuine love for performing made for an unforgettable night. The Parti-Gras 2025 Tour lived up to its name—this wasn’t just a concert; it was a full-blown celebration of music, good vibes, and timeless rock anthems.

For fans of Poison, classic rock, and high-energy performances, this show was everything they could have hoped for and more. Bret Michaels still knows how to throw one hell of a party, and this night at Mohegan Sun Arena was proof of that.
